Rural Design | RD shortlisted for TimeSpan competition

Five teams have been selected by the jury from a total of thirty-eight practices which submitted expressions of interest to the RIAS organised competition.

The team selected will carry out a feasibility study, looking at options to upgrade and enhance the heritage and art institution which was set up in 1987 in Helmsdale in the Scottish Highlands.

Key aims of the project include boosting sustainability, accessibility, and community involvement at the 600m² waterfront cultural centre which uses arts and heritage to promote political, social, cultural, environmental, and communal change.

The other shortlisted practices are Dualchas Architects, Assemble + Office Corr Higgins, Moxon and Konishi Gaffney.
